We are the BENCHMARK in maintaining a fleet of clean and precise equipment as we interact with the motoring public.

Our trucks on average are 2.5 years old. We operate Peterbilt 389 and International Lonestar 13 speed manual transmission trucks as well as Kenworth T-680 NextGen automatics. Our newest fleet additions are the Peterbilt 579 automatics equipped especially for the safety and comfort of our Drivers.

Our trailer fleet is comprised of pneumatic and vacuum pneumatic trailers, as well as liquid food grade, Kosher certified, and chemical trailers. Our newest vacuum pneumatic trailers are equipped with a state-of-the-art fall protection system for the safety of our most valuable resources, Our Drivers.

The company today deploys the latest collision mitigation and stability-control technologies, specs disc brakes on all wheel ends, and utilizes ConMet’s intelligent PreSet Plus SmartHub to further boost safety.

SmartHub is the latest technology from ConMet helping improve vehicle safety and efficiency with powerful new wheel-end telematics.

They have developed the first connected health monitoring system built into a hub assembly.

With sensors placed strategically on all hubs, the SmartHub generates actionable intelligence for fleets on the condition of a vehicle’s entire wheel-end ecosystem, which includes the hubs, tires, and brakes. This information is easily viewed and analyzed through our dashboard, helping our Professionals take quick action and reduce occurrences of roadside repairs, thermal events, wheel-offs, and other costly incidents.

SmartHub is a key component of our maintenance program and combined with our other tech vendors and products, our overall system is the benchmark that customers and competitors use to set new class standards in service, support, and safety.

ConMet is a leading global manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket wheel hubs for the commercial vehicle industry. With patented innovations, such as their PreSet®, PreSet Plus®, and TruTurn® product lines, ConMet is the undisputed leader in the development of lightweight, high-performance products for the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry. They also provide a high-tech tool to assist the Drivers in monitoring tire air pressure.

McLeod Software In effort to better serve our customers, Custom Commodities Transport utilizes the McLeod Software. It is the most comprehensive transportation management and software solutions available for trucking dispatch operations.

Bendix Braking System For over 80 years, Bendix has been setting the industry safety standard for commercial vehicle air brake charging and control systems. As Custom Commodities Transport advances in safety technologies, we use Bendix’s braking systems to help ensure the safety of our equipment out on the road.

Bendix Wingman Advanced Bendix Wingman Advanced brings together adaptive cruise control with braking features along with collision mitigation technology. By investing in this system, we benefit from a potent combination of active safety technologies that can help our drivers in collisions, roll-overs, and loss-of-control situations. This is another technology that ensures and promotes safety, here at Custom Commodities Transport, out on the road.

Samsara Electronic Logging Device: Our new tablet-based ELD connects directly to a vehicle’s engine through the OBD port. Live data is transmitted to the ELD so there is always an accurate log of when the engine is on and what speed the vehicle is traveling and reports diagnostic information, such as engine fault codes, harsh braking or acceleration events, and more.

Drivers record their hours through the Samsara Driver App on their truck’s tablet, selecting on duty, off duty, or driving. Together, the engine data and the Driver’s records of duty status form a complete picture of compliance with the ELD rule.

Samsara AI DashCams: Our Internet-connected dash cameras are designed to prevent accidents, exonerate drivers, and lower fleet risk & costs. Dual-facing cameras simultaneously capture Driver- and outward-facing video and automatically upload and analyze footage of accidents, harsh driving, and other events of interest. Samsara has allowed us to implement our safety coaching program, prevent accidents, and lower costs.
